Adonica & Michael

I was very honoured to be a part of their special weekend in December 2020. Adonica & Michael initially planned a destination wedding with all their family and friends. I was to be one of their bridesmaids. Well, thanks to the pandemic (no sarcasm here! Read on!), they were forced to scale down to a 10-people wedding. With the covid restriction, of course I was upset about not being able to attend, but thankfully Adonica asked me to document their wedding day! So not only was I able to be there to witness one of my best friends getting married, but I got to capture their day too!

Adonica & Michael rented this amazing vacation home at Whistler, BC with a stunning mountain view overlooking the Alta Lake for their wedding ceremony. Although it was a smaller wedding than anticipated, it was definitely filled with lots of joy and laughter. It goes without saying that this intimate wedding was a joy to photograph with breathtaking scenery.

On a side note, the weather was gorgeous but it was definitely freezing! It was -7 degrees up on the mountain that day. I really appreciated how Adonica & Michael stuck it out for the portrait session! No complaints at all because we all know it would be worth it in the end.
